3 Days Toubkal Circular Trek

The Itinerary

Day 1

  • Marrakech
  • Imlil/ High Atlas Mountains (1740m)
  • TiziMzik (2600m)
  • Azib Tamsoult

Pick up from Marrakech at 8:00AM and drive towards the Imlil Valley via Asni village.Meeting the guide and muleteer, once our luggage loaded, we start our trek to cross Tizi Mzik pass (2600m) where we our lunch and enjoying panoramic view over all the valley of Imlil. We then continue our hike to Azib Tamsoult. Overnight in the Refuge .

Day 2

  • AzibTamsoult
  • Aguelzime Pass (3560m)
  • Toubkal Refuge (3207m)

Today we leave Azib Tamsoult and climbing Aguelzim pass at 3560m. After 5 hours via a zig-zaging trail we reach the pass where the Lunch will be taken with spectacular views over the Atlas Mountains. We continue walk down to the refuge at 3207m, Overnight in the Refuge.

Day 3

  • Toubkal Refuge
  • Toubkal Summit (4167m)
  • Imlil (1740m)
  • Marrakech.

At early morning, we start our Jbel Toubkal climbing to enjoy the freshness of the morning. we turn on our head torch as the next 2 hours walk will be in dark, we cross the river above the refuge, then carry on walk up to reach the Toubkal Summit the highest peak in the North Africa. From here the view is truly breathtaking as we can see entire Toubkal massif and on clear day the siroua Massif, sahara and all the way to Marrakech. After taking some time to enjoy the views we come down back to Imlil.
